The road log has been updated to reflect changes that have occurred in the decade since the last edition. I find this a bit tedious, and the lauded fight scenes aren't enough to make this worthwhile for me. The music is overbearing and intrusive in a cheerfully Western way. via youtube, dubbed in English:HK Film concludes that itmight not be a true classic of the genre, but it does feature some very solid fight sequences, and the rest of the movie won't want to make you hit the fast-forward button. If you're a fan of old school kung fu movies and are looking for something new to check out, you could do a whole lot worse than this. Over the years I have gotten to know men, not a few, who were apparently outstanding Christians in their churches and cities who had major sins that no one suspected that they could have been guilty of. For some reason I found out and ministered to them, but was only partly successful with a few of them. The next few posts be on their sins. I do not think all of you are guilty but I know some of you are. If the church does not know, God knows and your wife and children probably know. How Do You Treat Your Wife?“Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. Whew – what a week. Erin Mae's chimney stands vertically, which means there is a wedge shaped base support between the roof and the collar. We've noticed these cracks appearing in the base, but have concluded that the material is some sort of wood, and that the fault lines are probably where different segments have been cut to fit. That's less worrying than the thought of a metal base cracking. We'd been getting frustrated with the chimney. It was forever leaking tar onto Erin Mae's roof, with the resultant staining that the photos demonstrate. And then chimneys seemed to have a very short life, with rust quickly getting a hold. We've decided a chimney project is in order! Firstly, we've bought a stainless steel chimney which will have paid for itself as soon as one ordinary steel chimney needed to be replaced. Secondly, we've bought a galvanised steel liner which will fit inside the flue, and usher all tarry condensates back down said flue. K-Edge left electronic mtb shifterToday's rant brought to you by The Electron, without which your day would totally suck. The latest thing to bubble up is electronic shifting. Probably sooner than later. I'm speaking of production gruppos, by the way. Winter sucks, but it's a good time to do stuff like this. I had an extra set I had picked up at a swap meet or somewhere. I just wanted to clean them up and get them back to respectable. After removing the gaskets with a tiny nail, I used a green scotch bright pad and some degreaser under some water to get them clean. Then I followed that up with some steel wool. Finally I used some Mother's Aluminum polish and polishing wheel on my bench grinder.

A thousand apologies - since the Society for Medical Decision Making meeting in London, we have been traveling in the UK, and I have been unable to find the time to post on the blog.

But in exchange we have caught up with good old friends, met lovely people, and seen fabulous sights and beautiful country. I plan to return very soon, and then after much catching up, will then resume normal activity. Yet, all our blog posts are written by volunteers who have day jobs or are retired. If FIRM had real money, maybe we could develop a staff and do a lot more to shine light on the dark side. It came together so easily! After stamping the images and trimming them out, I decided to hang them upside down on my card like a drying flower bouquet. The washi tape holds it on, and it's layered over a doily from the craft store. derek kettela via olsen-files. You gals are the greatest. You are a-ma-zing. Notizia e foto su. So sorry for the quiet day on here. Hopefully all will be back to normal tomorrow. He has displayed some excellent photographs and provided links to PDFs and photographs which describe the boat and its discovery, excavation and reconstruction. The woman in the photo above was buried with a sickle placed across her neck. These data indicate that those targeted for apotropaic practices were not migrants to the region, but instead, represented local individuals whose social identity or manner of death marked them with suspicion in some other way. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman.

God desires his people to be the ones who make an impact and influence others, rather than simply being the ones who get influenced by those around them.

Application: We are God's ambassadors. We are to be people who influence the world around us.

We are not to be influenced by the ways of this world, rather, we are to be the ones influencing others.

We must ask ourselves if we are being influenced or are we influencing our culture. Observation: Daniel was a mighty man of God who had an amazing relationship with the Father. He interpreted dreams and visions. He operated in words of knowledge and God was with him incredibly. God delivered him from a lion's den and a fiery furnace and gave him wisdom for kings. In this verse I believe we see the reason God had done so much for Daniel in his lifetime. "So I turned to the Lord" was his mode of operation. When he didn't understand something he turned to the Lord. He wasn't a terrible sinner, yet when he needed an answer he turned to the Lord. Busy times here in Puddlecoteville but here's a quick gem from an article I read in the office this afternoon over a corned beef and pickle sarnie. Ben Popken of NBC News has written a fairly balanced piece about differing policies towards e-cig use in American offices. In essence, it seems that small businesses are mostly embracing their use while larger ones opt for counter-productive and lazy blanket bans. Without any 'evidence' of harm - you know, like the olden days when smoking bans were supposed to be about that - to hang their irrational prejudices on, each scrape of the barrel is effortlessly countered by other more tolerant and rational folk. It's a joy, it really is, but the whole situation is gloriously and succinctly encapsulated in this excellent put-down by some non-smoking geezer called "Mike from Gary". Watch and learn. Admit it, people like you are simply enjoying lording it over people who use a still-legal product, and are just pushing as hard as you can, simply because you can. And because of this, I've decided to start sharing with you some of our favorite meals and snacks. Since the beginning of the year, I've been eating mostly gluten free but recently decided to go all the way GF and stick with it. One big staple in my GF diet is popcorn. I have recently been reviewing a number of the art exhibitions from the new season on NearSay and will continue to do so for the next few weeks. This new website covers the daily happenings in NYC and is written by locals for New Yorkers, visitors, and the just plain curious. Head on over to vote. The Disintegration Collaboration keeps on keeping on. I really do feel quite overwhelmed, but very grateful. Thank you. I'll make up three new categories - recipes savoury, recipes sweet and recipes drinks. This is a quick summer salad I made up last week. It's a good size for four people but you could make a smaller portion just by scaling down the ingredients - it would make an excellent lunchbox lunch too. It's a good recipe to have on standby because if you're busy, you can do it in stages and just put it together at the last minute. Use whatever vegetables you have on hand. And you can see higher resolution versions of these scans on Flickr. After water, tea is the most popular non-alchoholic drink in the world. I drink it for breakfast and lunch, and often have one or two more cups during the day. Tea is part of my ordinary days. When you think about it, millions of cups of tea would be enjoyed every day. I wonder how many of them are made using tea bags. Just think of all those one-use, "disposable" bags and all the string that makes those bags dangle. Then there are all the staples that attach the string to the bag and the label. It makes me shudder to think of all that waste. Every day. Quelques produits Lab. Lab. boutique. AVANT-dernier is the odd ant out. On our way to Minnesota for my brother's wedding, we decided to stop in Chicago.

Our plan was to visit Shedd Aquarium to let the kids blow off some steam.

We quickly discovered that it was their free entrance day which meant that the wait to get into the aquarium was an hour and a half! Obviously, we weren't going to stand outside in the sun in the heat of the day for that long, although many, many other parents of young children seemed willing to do this! So we went to the Field Museum instead.

Seriously, the kids didn't stand still long enough to really take in any of the exhibits, but they used up some energy, which was our main goal.

It was good that we didn't go to Shedd, because there is no way there would have been space for them to go crazy expend some energy. I was a little bummed that nobody would pose with me in front of Sue, the T-Rex, but I did get one photo of Logan and Mia. Honestly, I am lucky to have gotten the one picture. New sketches and design team samples will be posted the first Saturday of the month. Look for additional samples throughout each month, too. Play once a month or as many times as you like. Head over to Jen's blog for all the details on that! And when you've got your card made, just link it up to Jen's post to be "officially" entered.
