Vclifecenters. Good morning!!! I just wanted to let you know that there is now a Flickr group for the row along. I see that several of you have already joined. Don Neal posted the following interview of a young woman who had a possible bigfoot sighting as she was driving home in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She saw the creature by a road sign next to the highway, and realized that whatever it was, it was much too tall to be a human. Wishcandy, or Sashiko Yuen is a mad nomad artist currently located in the Los Angeles area. Her work is essentially a sassy candy-coated horror show. Inspired by retro culture, street fashion, kitsch, beauty, and the grotesque. Don't miss her Food Erotica serie. Olson. I have been busy for several weeks Creating Christmas at our house - from the entry to the kitchen and the dining room. Changes were made in the guest room, the living room and our bedroom. Christmas is everywhere. Yet, it is so much more than just decorations. This ugly Santa, all tattered and torn has been a part of my Christmas since I was a child.

This little book sitting on the tray was purchased by Steve for his mother, Virginia, as one of her last Christmas gifts.

Although I have quite a collection of Maileg pixies, these two are dear to my heart because they were purchased on a special vacation. I know you too have been busy creating Christmas around your house, so please join the party - there is a different theme each day. Head on over to Let's Add Sprinkles to see Katie's beautiful Christmas trees. Still itching to use the Strawberry Patch set, and thought it would be fun to try it out in these softer colors. I started by stamping the large strawberry cluster in Crumb Cake ink. The strawberries and flower centers were stamped in Pink Pirouette, and the leaves in Crumb Cake. To make the solid leaves a little lighter than the outline, I stamped them off on scrap paper before stamping them on my project. A strip of cardstock that had been stamped with the medium gingham from Gingham & Co. was added to the bottom.

I added a sentiment stamped onto the medium banner from the Banner Trio Die.

Pics from Friend of Bubble Visor. Ruth shows us the cover of an antique Delineator magazine. Check out the covers of this magazine through the ages. It's a real snapshot of changing styles and in some ways changing attitudes. A modern version of one of the designs from the magazine is today's pattern for the Tatting Pattern Calendar. Gail shares a picture of some of her collection of tatting shuttles. It almost makes me wish I used post style shuttles just so I could collect some of my own. Gail was wondering why the large bone crochet hook screws together in the middle. I'll bet it fit into a smaller case and separated for storage.

For over two decades since his arrival, Fidel has cherished the opportunities our country has provided to those seeking a better quality of life through hard work and determination.

Attaining US citizenship was always a goal for him and watching his son join the US Navy reminded Fidel just how important it is to serve our country. "Watching my son join the Navy made me so proud of him and what he was doing for our country. I wanted to do my part as well. " said Fidel. Happy Thursday! I'm back again this week with another card for Case Study Challenge. Each week they'll choose a previous card of mine that they like, create something from it, and at the same time I'll use it to inspire myself also! Why invent the wheel each time, right? Inspiration is everywhere! Here is the image we'll be using this week: If you'd like to take a closer look at the inspiration card, here is the original blog post. This is the card that I made using the card above as inspiration! First, I liked how the rainbows at the top of the card looked stacked.

I thought I could replicate that with a border die, so I used the Confetti Garland Borders die collection by Papertrey Ink with the Confetti Garland Borders Mini Stamp Set stamped onto the hearts.

The inspiration card had a black large sentiment in the center, so I replicated that with the Sending My Love stamp set. For the popped up sentiment, I stamped a second banner onto Sweet Blush cardstock with Raspberry Fizz ink and trimmed it out to pop it up over the stamped one on the card. I think this adds just a bit more color and interest. And the last thing that inspired me was the little hanging heart on the inspiration card. I love sleeping in a tent…Far Guy not so much. One time in Wyoming we had frost on the inside of the tent…cozy. The beautiful green/blue water of mountain streams in northern Idaho and Montana are something to see. Very different from Minnesota rivers, the glacial melt suspends particles that reflect light differently into the green/blue spectrum. This day we parked the car and hiked over a bridge to get to the river. I have been informed about rocket-propelled grenades or RPGs. ‎. I walked into the Attic Window Quilt Shop the other day and was wowed by this beautiful quilt. Barb David made it. The pattern is from the book Christmas at Home by Christina DeArmond, Eula Lang, and Kaye Spitzli. This is a close up of one of the blocks. What a beautiful quilt! I wanted to feature this quilt today because Barb does excellent work and this quilt deserves a special spotlight of its own. Stop in at the shop and take a look at this stunning quilt. It has been fixed. If you need/want that pattern, please go here for an update. I don’t know if I featured this last year or not. I found it in my notes under “CHRISTMAS IDEA FOR NEXT YEAR. To use the buddy system or not to use the buddy system? Some think it is very wrong. Everyone loves running around and being part of all the pieces that make it run. It is the same with our church we pioneer. The kids think it is as much their church as it is ours. My son has always wanted to do the overhead for worship. My husband told him that when he learned to read, he'd be able to do it. He is so honored. I am up on the roof today. Now that the flamboyant tree has been put to the axe and the ficus has been sheared, we can actually see water from up here. The garden would usually work, but the breeze on these hot, humid days is better on the third floor. That the Ministry of Justice and Prison Service have embarked on a course of activity in an effort to disrupt my blog only reinforces my view that I was right to intrude on the public. That they have the brass neck to portray themselves as guardians of the law whilst traducing it reveals the very underbelly of criminal justice morality that my blog wishes to illustrate. With perceptively cynical foresight, this last post is one of the first written. Whether my keepers succeed in their sordid effort is now a question to be answered by my determination and a chunk of legal aid money.

Today's Entree section in the Register-Guard features yours truly in this story along with four other RG writers.

Next thing you know they'll do a profile of me on the sports page. Thanks to Lolita from Poland for the original Cheeseburger Soup recipe. I love the saturated colors in this line and designed a quilt that uses about a fat eighth of all twenty colors in the bundle. I arranged the fabrics in a gradient and then altered each column of fabric to make a pixelated design. Niente da fare quì la pioggia non smette e sembra davvero di essere in autunno! Hai voglia a insistere con ricami di primavera! Eppure io non demordo! E vi presento questo delizioso angelo del giardino di La d da.

Nothing to do, raining is going on, it seems to be in fall instead of spring unfortunately.

But I would like to think spring so I'm showing you this Angel Garden from La D da. It's displaying in a winter garden of a big Villa on the lake. still preparing for the baby shower on monday. The box is from this months paper pumpkin. I had a few left over and wanted to put them to use. The cards fit perfectly in the box.

I used the polka dot embossing folder to emboss the box.

Materials Used: Cardstock- whisper white, basic black, daffodil delight, designer series daffodil delight Accessories- box from paper pumpkin, embossing powder in white, blender pen to color in duck, paper doily, deco label framelit I also had a fun time making this onesie cupcake! It is a onesie folded up and secured with a baby sock then just sit it right in the cupcake liner! I used the yellow pom pom for the topping. Dramatic action-packed jocularities, hilariously electrifying stories of mayhem, humorously riveting absurd monologues and short plays. It seems like we've got a million things going on. Jenna had been begging to go to Reiman Gardens for the past month, so we decided to surprise the kids on Aaron's last day of summer vacation with a trip there.

It was so pretty and the kids had so much fun! I think after the first photo fiasco we went in with our expectations pretty low and just because, we had them wear their outfits again.

We promised if we got even one good picture it would be a good day. Oddly enough, we ended up with a handful of LIKES! Yaaaay! Even though we were surrounded by pretty colors, I just like these in black and white. I just do. Ok, so, here's what we got: Blake Bowen Blake Bowen We were still struggling to get them to all sit still and look at the camera, so I had an idea.

Let them move! And then.

Well this is disappointing. Predictable, but disappointing. From Politico: Back when he hosted a prime-time talk show on MSNBC, Ed Schultz divided the world into heroes and villains. The heroes usually included Democrats like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The villains were most Republicans, and especially Donald J. Trump. ” When Trump flirted with running for president the next year, Schultz ridiculed him. “Who has shown any interest in Donald Trump being the next president of the United States other than Donald Trump?” he fumed. There was great brewery representation, and the beers were incredible! The bands rocked and the burlesque was some of NYC's finest. We're already planning for next year and will continue to try and make it the best festival of it's kind. Please join the Shmaltz Brewing mailing list to receive updates on this event, and all the other events we have going on around the country. Look forward to seeing you next fall. - Matt, Jeremy, Ben, Mikey, Pat and Erica. I have been making costumes for about five years. When i was little i would buy them from stores but as i got older i wanted them to look more authentic and have more detail so the only way i could get a good costume was to make them myself. My first costume was a lion from the Wizard of Oz that i made all by hand and then a Dorothy. I have now made many Dorothy dresses and lions and other characters. I usually make costumes of things i like, mostly Wizard of Oz. I also do all my own makeup. Put em up, put em up Here i am as The cowardly lion. I'm feeling a little rusty. Inspirational crystal quote of the day: “Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve.

” - Wilferd A.

Peterson Yes the crystals are charged, cleansed and at full power again. Yes we are ready for greatness today. The perceived perception is a skewed reality and when WWF heroes start kicking down closet doors the world is turned on its ear and somehow everything feels - RIGHT. Ours is not to question WHY just to listen, learn and inspire. We start the morning with a sky full of sun and nary a breath of wind. Below shallow morning tide level in play at the moment so expect better surf as the tide fills in and gives that extra push. What's going on with this winter? It is too cold for the snow melt to work. Isn't that counter intuitive? The clean area is where the snow was blown off, not melted. Teddy's umbrella blew over and broke. She is still enjoying the snow. She just stuck her head in the snow for a big bite. Playing in the snow makes her hungry. .
